“Chinese architect Liu Jiakun has designed a double-sided tray for Italian company Alessi. Based on ancient Chinese writing material, 26 identical aluminium bars are fastened together with stainless steel hardware. The sides of the rods bend slightly inwards, creating a 89.43° angle. Sarah Yun
Originally from Inner Mongolia, Sarah Yun studied fashion at Raffles Design School before moving to London for further study at Central Saint Martins. Her first fashion show, part of Beijing Fashion Design Association, was held in 2006 at Beijing Imperial City Gallery. Since 2009, Sarah has actively worked alongside charities such as Caisangzi and brandnü. She established her own brand in Beijing earlier this year; stockists include Dong Liang Studio and Boutique Palma, Nali Patio.
